On Saturday we will anchor out in the Hudson Bay in the late morning. Sails Meeting will drop anchor by 11 am and all other boats are invited to tie up. We can work to arrange a star raft if we have enough boats out there. If not, we can do kind of a horse shoe.
The days events will be rafting up, socializing, swimming, having lunch and beverages on the water. Bring life jackets, floaties, sunscreen, and anything else you will need. The club will provide lunch and beverages on the water.
We all sail frequently so this will be a day to enjoy time together on the water.
You may anchor out overnight if you wish but remember you must have working lights on your boat. This applies to all boats that stay overnight. Otherwise you are easy pickins for the water patrol.
Also you will need at least two fenders per boat to tie up. Do not depend on someone else to have spares to borrow. No one wants scratches on the hull that could be avoided.
Please RSVP to assist with planning, especially for beverages and food.
Everyone is welcome to attend – be you a member of SCSC or not – let’s fill the bay with sailboats!
