The St. Croix Sailing Club offers the following educational courses.
Learn to Crew Class
The go-to class for learning about being a crew member on a variety of Racing Sailboats. For those with some boating experience and are interested in learning about sailboat racing.
Held in early June.

Basic Keelboat Certification (ASA-101)
For those with no prior sailing experience. Teaches how to skipper (drive/captain) a weighted-keel sailboat.
Held at various times throughout the sailing season.
This class is conducted by the Saint Croix Sailing School, with support from the St. Croix Sailing Club.

Maintenance and Race Ready Clinic
This is a 4-hour class (hands on) which covers preparation of a sailboat to safely handle both cruising and race conditions. Individuals who are new to sailing or have recently purchased a sailboat and are looking for a review of what to know to “get underway” will benefit from this class.
