You are invited to join the St. Croix Sailing Club for our annual Dave O’Donnell Memorial Regatta and Spring Picnic!
Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 hrs
The Dave O’Donnell Memorial Regatta heralds the beginning of the SCSC sailing season and honors the legacy of our late Principal Race Officer, Dave O’Donnell. Dave served the club for almost 30 years, and was an enthusiastic supporter of the sport of sailing.
Two races will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 hrs. This event is open to the general public! Everyone who would like to try out racing is welcome to participate. You are even welcome to bring your own boat!
There will be a Jib/Main fleet (non-spinnaker), and two additional PHRF fleets:
- Division 1: Jib/Main
- Division 2: PHRF 175 and above
- Division 3: PHRF 174 and below
Note that boats may declare non-spinnaker for the series by announcing to the Race Committee prior to the first warning signal of the day. Non-spinnaker boats are not required to sail in Division 1.
All SCSC boats are automatically registered.
All non-SCSC boats must register by EOD Wednesday, June 2nd to receive their handicap and division assignments. To register, please Contact Us and a form will be sent to you.
