Message: Blue water sailor with limited experience racing C Scows on Lake Minnetonka in the 1980s. I hold all ASA certs up to Coastal Cruising, a Mediterrian charter license, FCC, etc.
In the past three years, I have sailed in the Caribbean (2), Adriatic, and Mediterrian.
Club racing is new to me. But I do know Starboard from Port and happily follow instructions.
Going back to the Adriatic next June.

Message: Interested in getting back on the water after a long hiatus. I grew up on Pewaukee lake racing scows (X, M-16, M-17, E, and A – I’ve skipped or crewed on all of them). In college I lived in Milwaukee and taught adult and youth sailing, and crewed on Solings and a few different Js. I had an ACL surgery 10 years ago that caused me to put a hold on sailing for a bit, as well as some moving around…long story short ended up in Hudson with a 3 and 1 year old. Interested in getting back on the water, I have a ton of experience, just need to dust the cobwebs off.*Also my first priority is my kids (stay at home mom) so sometimes my schedule I can’t accommodate due to my husbands traveling and babysitter availability.

Message: Recently moved to Wisconsin from North Carolina. I got my start sailing in high school by racing keel boats offshore. I raced 22′-42′ boats offshore for 6 or 7 years before moving to lightnings (19′ three person boat). I raced lightnings for about 10 years. Our boat won several district championships and I’ve raced in the Lightning North American Championships many times. I generally do foredeck because I’m light and agile, but can do other roles as well. I’ve taken a few years off from sailing and am looking to get back into racing or even just booze cruising. If you’re looking for regular crew or even just a pick-up person, let me know.
