  • Independence Day Raft-Up

    July 5, 2026 @ 12:30 pm - 11:30 pm

    One of the club'sfavorite summer traditions returns around Independence Day.

    Meet on the water in the afternoon of July 5 starting at around 12:30–1:00 PMto form our star-shaped raft. Bring your favorite snacks, beverages, andstories from the season as we spend the afternoon together. We'll plan to watchthe Hudson Fireworks display from the water.

    No schedules. No race clocks. Just a great afternoon with fellow sailors.

  • Tom Davis Celebration of Life

    August 5, 2026 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

    Join Tom’s friends and family for a Celebration of Life at the St. Croix Marina Clubhouse on August 5th from5pm-9pm.  Tom Davis was a long-time member of our club and served as Treasurer for 20+ years.  He and his wife, Marie raced and cruised on a Catalina 30 “Dream Finder”, then on a Catalina 36 “Wind Swept”.  He was also a founding member of the Saint Croix Sailing School.

    Tom loved being on the water sailing as well as being a part of the sailing club.  He also enjoyed serving on both the SCSC and SCSS board of directors.  Sailing anywhere was his “Happy Place”.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

    Any donations can be made out to the Saint Croix Sailing School or the charity of your choice.
    Feel free to forward this notice to anyone interested in attending who is not on our SCSC mailing list.

    Note:  This is not a club-sponsored event, and there will be no beercan “race”, just a gathering of friends to reminisce about Tom.

  • Beercan Race 7 to Stillwater (Picnic to follow)

    Location:  Lowell Park Waterfront

    All Race and Casual Race boats are welcome to sail in this event, and all SCSC members and prospective members are welcome to attend the party after.
    Shoreline docking "Med Moor" style!  Reach out if you're unfamiliar with how that works.  Helpers will be available.

    The club will provide pop and water, but no main dish. This is a Potluck, so please bring a dish to share. BYOB. Ken will bring bocce ball and croquet, other lawn games welcome!

  • Cruise to Stillwater w/ Shoreline Docking (Picnic to follow)

    Cruising on the St. Croix River, hosted by the St. Croix Sailing Club.
    Don't miss the Beercan Race/Cruise to Stillwater. Med-style mooring, Potluck after the race in Lowell Park. The club will provide pop and water, but no main dish. Please bring a dish to share. BYOB. Ken will bring bocce ball and croquet, other lawn games welcome!

    ·         When: Following racing.
    ·         Where/Hosts: St. Croix Marina Clubhouse
    ·         All boats are requested to bring Chili, Cornbread, or a side dish.
    ·         There will be a contest to see who makes the best chili or cornbread!  Experiment to your heart’s content – hungry sailors will eat anything!
    ·         The club will provide chili fixins (sour cream, onions, cheese, etc). Drinks are available for purchase at Lucky Guys.
