Tonights race is canceled due to approaching storms. It will be made up on
June 27th.

Committee boat is heading out now, but storms are on their way. Might try
for one short race. Announcements will be made on the water.

Looks like storms will be rolling in soon. I’m not calling it yet, but
would like to explain my thinking:

Sunset is around 8:30pm right now. A short race is 1hr long. It takes me
appx 1hr to set up a course. Therefore, if the R/C is unable to leave the
dock in steady wind at around 6:30pm, then I will cancel.

Future predictions are still unclear, but suggest that the storms will be
over between 6 and 7pm, with winds solid from the South. So, it’s a waiting
game until we know more.

We are postponing the Carlson Classic races to 11:30am – at the earliest.

Due to high water, the Dave O’Donnell Memorial Regatta and Spring Picnic,
currently scheduled for Saturday, May 28th, have been canceled.

Racing is anticipated to resume at our next scheduled race on Tuesday, May
31st.

Due to high water, the Breaking Waves race has been postponed to June 18th,
and the Spring #1 race has been postponed to June 23rd.
Racing will resume when the river drops below 683 ft.
